Public-Private-Partnership (PPP)

In the wake of increasing involvement of private sector in agricultural in meeting the multifarious demands of the farming community, PPP in various modes/forms can provide synergistic approach in the extension efforts. PPP has emerged as one of the crucial areas in agricultural extension. Department of Agriculture & Cooperation (DAC) has accordingly interacted with the related private sector representatives at various levels and has constituted a Committee on PPP headed by Additional Secretary to provide an advisory forum to deliberate on current issues in promoting PPP approaches in agricultural extension and work out partnership models.
