            The plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003 and its amendments have been introduced in order to prevent the entry of exotic pests and diseases into the country without disrupting trade. 2.  The package of practices in respect of 77 crops for Integrated Pest Management are also available on the website of the Department.

3. The guidelines and status of registration of insecticides are available  on www.cibrc.nic.in

4. The  draft amendments to the Insecticides Act , 1968 have been finalized in consultation with various stackeholders
